💜 What Should People Understand About Living With a Rare Disease?

Many effects of a rare disease are invisible to other people.

Someone may look healthy while living with pain, exhaustion or uncertainty every day.

For me, one important message is this: Just because you cannot see someone’s illness does not mean they are feeling well.
