The rain still lingered in the air as I went out for a walk this morning with Liza. It was cool, almost uncomfortably so—and honestly, I hadn’t planned to stop at all.
But then I noticed them: bright tulips by the side of the path, far too beautiful to just pass by.
Of course, it happened at the exact moment I didn’t have my camera with me. Typical.
So my phone had to do. Not ideal—especially in the rain—but I still wanted to capture the moment.
Looking back, I’m actually a bit surprised. For a spontaneous photo taken in those conditions, it turned out pretty well. Maybe it’s exactly these unplanned moments that create the best pictures.
That was my small discovery this morning.
