What’s the best thing I’ve ever randomly found on the street? Strictly speaking, I didn’t find it—my dog at the time did.
We were enjoying a peaceful walk when he suddenly stopped and began sniffing a small bag with great interest. At first, I thought it might contain something edible. After all, according to my dog, everything on the ground was food—as long as nobody shouted “Leave it!” quickly enough.
But when I took a closer look, I realized these weren’t herbs for dog soup. They were cannabis flowers!
My dog looked incredibly proud of himself, as if to say, “See, Daniel? Other dogs find sticks. I find premium greenery!”
Of course, I made sure he didn’t eat any of it, and I didn’t simply take the bag home. But for one brief moment, I apparently owned the world’s only self-trained drug-sniffing dog.
Since then, I’ve known that on a walk you might find some loose change, a lost glove—or discover that your dog has a promising new career in the drug squad. 🐕🌿😂
