Spring.
Sun.
Scents of Nature.
Noises.

Fabry disease. Small fiber neuropathy. My constant “companions.”
With my dog Liza and through my hobbies (geocaching), I’m out in nature every day—sometimes less consciously, but mostly very consciously. Then I sit down somewhere in the woods, close my eyes, and try to consciously listen to the sounds nature has to offer.
All kinds of birdsong, the buzzing of bees and bumblebees, the wind rustling through the trees.
Listen.
Perceive.
Joy.
