I stand on the banks of the Rhine, and the water feels like a mirror for my thoughts—calm, vast, and full of possibility. The sky is still covered with thick clouds, yet I can see the light slowly finding its way through. Golden rays break through and dance across the surface of the river, as if reminding me that even gray moments can shine.
I take a deep breath. The air is fresh, clear, and cool, carrying that unmistakable scent of a new morning by the water. Everything feels untouched, as if the day has only just begun to write its story.
I lean gently against the railing and watch a boat glide by. The ripples it leaves behind spread slowly—just like my thoughts. Everything is allowed to move, everything is allowed to unfold.
I notice a smile growing within me.
Here, by the Rhine, I feel connected—to nature, to the moment, to myself. The trees on the opposite bank stand quietly in the soft morning light, as if whispering, “You are exactly where you’re meant to be.”
And then it happens.
The sun claims more space in the sky. The light grows brighter, clearer, more alive. The river begins to shimmer, as if it has decided to share a small secret with me: that every new morning is a new beginning.
I close my eyes for a moment and let that feeling grow inside me.
I am here.
I am calm.
And I am ready for this new day.
