Explore the universe as an astronaut

Welchen Job würdest du umsonst machen?

What job would I do for free? For me, the answer is clear: astronaut.

The idea of seeing Earth from space has fascinated me for a long time. That small, glowing blue planet in the endless darkness — just experiencing that would make every effort worthwhile. As an astronaut, I wouldn’t just travel; I would cross boundaries that most people can only dream of. Experiencing weightlessness, looking out of a window into the universe, and knowing that the entire planet lies beneath me — that is more than just a job, it is a dream.

Of course, this profession is extremely demanding. Years of preparation, intense physical and mental training, and the responsibility to perform with precision during missions. But that is exactly what makes it so special. It’s not about money; it’s about discovery, knowledge, and the feeling of being part of something greater.

I would do this job for free because it gives me something priceless: perspective. To see how small our problems are compared to the universe. To understand how valuable our planet is. And to have the chance to push the limits of what is possible just a little further.

Being an astronaut doesn’t just mean having a job — it means living a dream.
